Caudalie Thirst Quenching Serum

The more Caudalie products I try, the more I fall in love with the brand!
My mum got me this when she was away and my first reaction was a bit sceptical because it seems like a product suited for a drier skin. However, after using it for about a week I'm positively sure that it's one of the best things my skin has tried - I'm actually starting to think it could have been a little dehydrated before.
I've been using it instead of a moisturiser (before going to bed only) so I can see clearer results and I find it's enough on it's own. The very first day my skin felt ... well, like it's not really my skin. Definitely hydrated, soft and calm. It has totally transformed my skin and I think it's worth every single penny of the £29 it costs.

The serum is quite liquidy but a little goes a loong way - one spritz is enough for my whole face and half my neck. It sinks in quite quick but I prefer to give it some extra time before I wipe my face with the pillow and I'd definitely suggest waiting before applying another product on top.
I honestly think it's one of the best things your dry, dehydrated (and even combination-oily skin like mine) skin could try.
And of course it's organic and has no parabens which is always good and for me personally is a big selling point.
Have you tried the serum? I'd love to hear what you think! :)

Bracelet - it's a gift bought from a gallery so it's a unique handmade piece
Shoes - I've no idea! I got them while I was on my road trip, they were really cheap and I don't expect them to last a long time but I love the colour

DIY Outfit of the day

Another outfit of the day, this time mostly diy. I just bleached a pair of denim shorts (cut from old jeans) and I was planning on dying them but I liked them so much I left the dye for another pair! I feel like it has a bit of an 80s' feel to it although personally I hate the 80s' and this is as close as I'm getting to them. The top I printed myself last year and since it's gotten a bit baggy I used a brooch to add some shape to it (and keep it from falling off my chest)

Goofy smile thanks to my boyfriend singing Pinky and the Brain theme song ... seriously.

Photopost: The Rose-trip

So I had a little family trip to the countryside and decided the photos would make a nice scrolling experience on someones' screen. The reason for the trip was my big summer design project which is called 'National treasure' and without any doubt Bulgarias' biggerst treasure is the rose oil, produced in just a few countries in the world. It's mostly used for luxury perfumes and cosmetics but it's basically good for your skin in any shape or form. Apparently Bulgaria produces 70% of all oil in the world witch came as a surprise even for me. It grows in a beautiful valley (miles and miles of heavenly smell) and the picking of the roses is a ritual on its own. Unfortunately I missed the ritual due to road work, but I got to visit a couple of museums and rose fields.
Hopefully sketchbook work and design development on the topic will be here soon!
